July 28 - Alien Invader hike, 3-4 p.m. Nature Inn. Moderately challenging. Participants will be walking at least a mile on uneven surfaces.

July 29 - Sunday Morning Stroll, 9 a.m. Nature Inn. Participants will be walking at least a mile on uneven surfaces.

July 29 - Migrating Naturalist at the Beach, 2-3 p.m.

July 30 - Story time with the Friendship Community Library, 7-8 p.m. meet at Pavilion No. 1. This program is designed for families.

Aug. 2 - Nature for Toddlers series, 10-11:30 a.m. Designed for children ages 3 to 5. Advance registration required. Includes indoor and outdoor activities.

Cherry Springs State Park, Galeton

July 27 - Geocache Trail, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

July 27 - Moonlight Movie and Lunar Viewing, 9:30-11 p.m., Astronomy Field Amphitheater.

Aug. 3-5 - Woodsmen's Show 9-5:00 p.m.

Aug. 3 - Woodhick Competition at the Woodsmen's Show, 2-3 p.m. Register by calling the park at 814-435-5010. After July 31st, please register the day of event at the Galeton Rotary tent near the arena as spaces allow.

Leonard Harrison State Park, Wellsboro

July 31 - Last day to register for the annual Civilian Conservation Corps Reunion and Picnic to be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 11 at the large pavilion behind the park office. Call 724-3061 or email leonardharrisonsp@pa.gov to register.

Waterville

July 22 - Children's Story Time, 1-1:45 p.m. at the beach. This program is suitable for ages six and up.

July 27 - Coffee Break, 8-9 p.m. amphitheater. Coffee, tea, and iced tea are provided, but please bring your own mug.

July 27 - Theater in the Pines: The Narragansett, 9-9:45 p.m. amphitheater.

July 28 - The Ugliest Critter in the Creek, 3-6 p.m. at the lower picnic area, 1/2 mile downstream from the campground. Come prepared to wade in the creek.

July 28 - Geology Gala, 1-3 p.m., Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center.

July 29 - Rocks, Ridges and Streams GPS and Geology Hike, 8:30-9:45 a.m., Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center. An adult must accompany children under the age of 10.

Aug. 1-3 - Penn's Adventurers (Jr. Naturalist) Day Camp, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For kids ages 9-12, must register.

Ricketts Glen State Park,

July 30-Aug. 1 - Conservation Leadership Program Wilderness Survival Skills II, 9 a.m.-noon for ages 12-17. Call to register.
