June I. Oyster, 89, of 245 Devil Hole Run Road, Millville, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at her home.
Born June 6, 1923, in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Jennie (Harrison) Frank. On Oct. 4, 1947, she married Edward Stanley Oyster. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage until his death on Dec. 29, 2002.
June was a graduate of Sunbury High School.

She was a member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Muncy.
June enjoyed baking and loved visiting with family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Robert Laidacker of The Villages, Fla., and Sherry and Robert McBride of Millville; five grandchildren, Laura Wilson, Brian Adkins and his wife Jennifer, Stephen McBride, Rochelle Foust and her husband Cristian and Andrea Bredbenner and her husband Matt; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Bill and Bud Frank and two sisters, Ethel Troup and Mary Cornelius.
Friends will be received from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 203 S. Main St., Muncy, where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Officiating will be her pastor, Rev. Dr. Donald P. Edwards.
Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in June's name be made to St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 203 S. Main St., Muncy, PA 17756.
