Karen Ann (Weeks) Tate went to heaven on Saturday, July 21, 2012. She was born in Williamsport in 1955, daughter of Edward John and Ruth Ann Evans Weeks.
She is survived by her husband, Ryan Tate of 22 years; her parents of Williamsport; her brother, Dave Weeks of South Williamsport; three children, Michael of Williamsport, Nicholas of Pittsburgh and Ashley Tate (stepdaughter) of Lewisburg; along with numerous relatives and good friends.
She graduated Loyalsock High School in 1973. She retired from the Williamsport Post Office as a letter carrier after 17 years. She loved gardening and photographing flowers and butterflies. Another favorite pastime was collecting and listening to music. She found her greatest joy in her children and family and always looking for ways to be generous to them.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions in her name be made to Northway Presbyterian Church, 1520 Northway Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
