Retirees to hold next meeting
TROUT RUN - The AFSCME Council 13, sub-chapter 8603, retired Pennsylvania state employees meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Steam Valley Restaurant, 169 Route 14. A guest speaker will discuss state retirement issues.
Women's club to host brunch
The Williamsport Christian Women's Club, affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, will hold their "Good Old Summertime Brunch" from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Community Baptist Church, 1853 Route 87 N., Montoursville.
Local Christian soloist Winnie Schweikart will perform. Lynette Wrigglesworth will present "Finding Answers in Christ: The Reality of Christ in Daily Living as a Wife and Mother."
