Colleen Elizabeth Clarke, 83, of West Street, was welcomed into Heaven on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Sycamore Manor, Montoursville.
Colleen was born Aug. 10, 1928, to Deo and Larue Birdick.
She was a 1946 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School and worked in their cafeteria for over 30 years with a smile.
Colleen was also an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, Jersey Shore, and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jody Clarke of Williamsport; one daughter, Barbara Sikora of Cave Creek, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Ciarra Clarke of Selinsgrove; and two great-granddaughters, Lilyonna and Sofie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce C. Clarke.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, Pa., with Rev. Kerry R. Aucker officiating.
