A city man was sentenced to two to four years in state prison on firearms violations by Judge Nancy L. Butts in Lycoming County Court Tuesday.
Darien Charles Robinson, 37, of 724 Grace St., was sentenced on felony charges of possession a handgun. Robinson, a convicted felon on drug offenses, was not legally allowed to have a weapon.
He was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun in the 900 block of Park Avenue on Jan. 12, which city police say he purchased three weeks earlier in Armstrong Township.
