MANSFIELD - Jessica A. Hipp, 26, of Denvor, N.C., was charged by Blossburg police with furnishing alcohol to minors and corruption of minors after she allegedly put alcohol in her 2-year-old child's "sippy cup."
Police recently were dispatched to 133 1/2 Lynd St. for a report of an intoxicated and suicidal female, according to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office. They discovered a "sippy cup" filled with a malted beverage and reported that neighbors saw the toddler drinking from the cup, police said.
Hipp was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.
