10 sentenced in Tioga County Court

WELLSBORO - Ten people were sentenced recently in Tioga County Court.

One man was sentenced to state prison on three sets of charges. He is:

Jared S. Pierce, 23, of 274 Mill St., Westfield, 12 months for reckless endangerment, 16 to 36 months and $220 restitution for criminal trespass, and 30 to 60 months for possession of firearms without a license.

Two men were sentenced to county prison. They are:

Jeffrey R. Boyd Sr., 55, of 700 Munson Road, Wellsboro, 5 years' supervision for driving under the influence of intoxicants with 12 months in jail and 30 days electronic monitoring and probation, plus a $2,500 fine.

Chad M. Pequignot, 36 of 361 N. Williamson Road, Blossburg, 24 months' intermediate punishment for reckless endangerment with four months in jail, then 30 days on electronic monitoring and probation, $200 fine.

Sentenced to probation were:

Samuel L. Sampson, 22, of 57 Troy St., Canton, 12 months for possession of drug paraphernalia and a $100 fine.

Daryl D. Abplanalp, 21, of 611 Munson Road, Wellsboro, six months for use and possession of drug paraphernalia.

One man was sentenced to special probation. He is:

Sterling Greenwalt, 20, of 1253 Collum Road, Lawrenceville, 24 months for forgery.

Sentenced to special probation for driving under the influence of intoxicants were:

Edwin H. Alvarado, 29, of Rochester, N.Y., 12 months.

Greg L. Cummings, 24, of 1826 Ridge Road, Tioga, 12 months.

Neal B. Graham, 37, of 3003 Nauvoo Road, Liberty, 12 months.

Henry D. Overstreet, 43, of Livingston, Texas, nine months.
