WELLSBORO - Jeremy P. Herman, 26, of Townview, was charged by borough police after he allegedly furnished alcohol to a minor in a motel room.
Herman, who documents said is a natural gas worker, served alcoholic beverages to a 19-year-old woman during a drinking party July 17 at his motel room on East Avenue, according to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard's office. Elizabeth Wilston said she and others had been drinking alcoholic beverages together in the room.
Herman was issued a summons for an Aug. 14 preliminary hearing.
