A city man was indicted in U.S. Middle District Court on a charge of allegedly conspiring to distribute and distribution of more than 500 grams of cocaine, according to U.S. Attorney Peter J. Smith.
Elliot Walter, 51, allegedly conspired with Dorian Graham and Marlene Scott to obtain cocaine from Philadelphia and distribute it in the city. Graham and Scott previously were indicted by the federal grand jury, Smith said. They are awaiting trial before Judge John E. Jones III.
A hearing for Walker is scheduled for Monday.
If convicted of both offenses, Walker faces five to 60 years in prison and a potential fine of $6 million.
State police, city police and the Drug Enforcement Agency investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney George J. Rocktashel is prosecuting.
