Williamsport Sun-Gazette

MUNCY - Northumberland County Prison inmate Preston Lee Farrar, 28, of 1980 Route 405, was brought before District Judge Jon E. Kemp last week to face state police charges for allegedly breaking into the Sunoco station on North Main Street overnight Nov. 29.

An estimated $625 worth of cigarettes, candy and other items was stolen in the break-in, police said.

Following his arraignment on charges of burglary, felony trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, Farrar was moved to the Lycoming County Prison, where he is jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail. He initially was incarcerated on a probation violation.
