MANSFIELD - State police charged Jonathan M. Elliott, 55, of 24 Summit St., Tioga, with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after he allegedly removed his neighbor's mailbox and poured nails and screws in the area where the mailboxes were.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, Elliott took Brian Fish's mailboxes on July 22. He was jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail and his preliminary hearing was held Wednesday.
