Second inning rally hurts Crosscutters

After Zach Taylor hit a triple into right field to put the Crosscutters up in the top of the second inning, Hudson Valley responded with a four-run second inning to take the lead and defeat Williamsport, 9-2, on Sunday in Hudson Valley.

Ryan Dunn hit a two-RBI double before Marty Gantt drove Dunn in to take the lead for the Renegades.

Justin O'Conner's three-run home run in the fourth helped distance Hudson Valley from the Crosscutters.

Williamsport was led by Christopher Serritella (2 for 3) and Cameron Perkins (double).

The Crosscutters play the Renegades again tonight on the road at 7:05 p.m.
