Roberta C. Vaught, 76, of Muncy, died on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Gatehouse. She was predeceased by her husband, William C. Vaught, December 2006.
Born Jan. 5, 1936, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Robert W. Hutchinson and Kathleen S. Strong Hutchinson.
She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in 1953 and had attended Lycoming College. She worked for Bell Pioneers in marketing. Roberta and her husband were also antique dealers. Roberta was an avid skier. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Surviving is a stepson, William C. (Lisa) Vaught Jr., of Ohio; a stepdaughter, Suzanne (Dean) Gaskins; three stepgrandchildren; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Resurrection Catholic Church, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, Pa., with the Reverend Glenn McCreary officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Roberta's name be made to the Gatehouse, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or to Resurrection Catholic Church.
