Dorothy D. Shaner, 91, of Williamsport, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Manor Care South.
Born Jan. 26, 1921, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Laura Peark Hill. Her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Shaner, preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2002.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Cinda J. Brucker officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
