Charges dropped in 2 cases

August 1, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

All charges were withdrawn last week against Richard Akeem Seville after the alleged victim in the case could not be located.

City police dropped charges of simple assault and harassment against Seville, 23, of 317 Locust St., who was arrested following a domestic disturbance with Rebekah DiMassimo, of the same address, on June 18.

In another domestic disturbance case, police also dropped charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment against Sidney A. Smith, 52, of 500 1/2 Park Ave..

Again, the alleged victim in the case, Vicky Reese, failed to show for Smith's preliminary hearing on Thursday before District Allen P. Page III.

Reese claimed that Smith allegedly threatened her with a knife in the home they share on July 23.
