Richard W. West, 58, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at his home.
Born Sept. 26, 1953, in Williamsport, he was a son of Daniel C. and Martha A. Bower West Sr.
He was an Army veteran and had worked as a roofer.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Tina (Merrill) West; four children, Jamie L. West of Jersey Shore, Christopher W. West of Williamsport, Melissa A. Ashby of Carlisle and Ann M. West of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren; three brothers; and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by three siblings.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
