The United States was founded upon the principals of individualism and capitalism, which allowed it to become the wealthiest and most powerful nation in history. Its citizens have enjoyed a standard of living unmatched anywhere in the world, with a large middle class.
Now, magical thinkers are attempting to change the USA to a country based upon Keynesian economics and Collectivism, which have failed to provide a standard of living even close to what America has enjoyed. In fact, history teaches us that any time Collectivism, in any of its forms, has been fully implemented, there's no middle class and people are either wealthy and powerful or destitute. Government is autocratic and individual rights are non-existent. It's no wonder these folks are being referred to as magical thinkers.
