I recently went to Little League Baseball Camp. It was on June 25 through June 29.
This was my first time there. I went every day for five days. My name is Trent Statts. I'm 10 years old and I live in Hughesville.
I play for Hughesville Major League baseball team Reeds Floor and Wall. I've played all positions but first base and catcher.

Trent Statts, a rising fifth-grader at Ashkar Elementary School, Hughesville, recently attended a baseball camp. While at camp, Statts was coached by Alec Rothrock, of Montoursville.
I met Alec Rothrock, my coach, at Little League camp. He is from Montoursville.
He taught me a lot of ways to improve my baseball skills. He really helped me with my pitching.
The Little League Camp is in South Williamsport.
They have a day camp and an overnight camp. Little League has had this camp for more than 40 years.
Camp started this year the last week of June and continued until the end of July. Each camp is five days long.
Day camp is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the overnight camp you get to stay all week long. You get to sleep in rooms with bunk beds where the kids from all over the world get to sleep if they make it into the Little League World Series.
The order every day for day camp is we got dropped off around 8:30 a.m. at the Little League pool and wait for everybody to come. Next, we got to go out to the fields to stretch and practice.
We practiced pitching, throwing, catching and foot mechanics for running. After practice we went to lunch. Then it was time to go back to the fields for a game. All our games were at 1 p.m.
When we were done with our game we got to go swimming until 3:50 and our parents picked us up at 4 p.m. One of our games was played in Lamade Stadium. It was so awesome to play on the Little League Field! At the end of the week, my team ending up with a 3-2 winning record.
I really like the Little League Day Camp. I like playing on Lamade Stadium the most. I met so many new friends that go to a different school than me. I still talk to a couple of them. I like the camp so much that I want to go to the overnight camp next year.
How I found out about Little League camp is I received a flyer in the mail.
Why I signed up to go is I LOVE baseball!
