Mr. and Mrs. Michael Minatelli, Huntersville, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 11, 2012.
They were married by the late Rev. Oscar Saxe in Huntersville. They are members of Huntersville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Minatelli, the former Sally Louise Faus, is a native of Hughesville. She is the daughter of Ruth Faus Wentzel and James Wentzel, Hughesville, and the late Harold Faus. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 1960. She retired from State Farm Insurance Agency in 2004.

Mr. Minatelli, a native of York, is the son of the late Althea Simmons Minatelli and Mark Minatelli. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1959 and from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1968. He served in the Air Force from 1962 to 1966 and was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2000, after 35 years of service, from Transworld Airlines as a lead mechanic.
They are the parents of two sons, Michael, Wilmington, Del., and Christopher, Charleston, S.C.
In honor of their anniversary, the couple went on a trip to Williamsburg, Va., as a gift from their sons and Denise Dougherty.
