WELLSBORO - Matthew David Priset, 28, of Delmar Township, found guilty of first-degree murder in the Jan. 25, 2011, stabbing death of Clinton Perry, 28, also of Delmar Township, will be sentenced in Tioga County Court at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 20.
Tioga County President Judge Robert Dalton Jr. found Priset guilty but mentally ill following a week-long bench trial that ended June 29.
He also was found guilty of burglary and other related charges.
Priset faces a mandatory sentence of life incarcerated without parole, but his mental health status may require that he serve part of that sentence in a mental hospital.
