Hunter Shearer tossed four shutout innings and added three hits as Montoursville won the 9-10 Mac McCloskey Tournament, 13-0 over Newberry. Montoursville scored 12 of its 13 runs in the first two innings while Shearer limited Newberry's offense to two hits.
Hughesville's Justin Lambert, playing for a team from Harrisburg, won a pair of games at the RBI Junior World Series in St. Paul, Minn. Harrisburg shut out a team from Detroit, 7-0, and beat Jersey City, N.J., 18-8.
Harrisburg is 2-1 and in second-place in the North Division, a game behind Arizona RBI.
