Diane Franklin, owner of Lady Di’s Floral and Garden Art, was forced to pick up and try to piece together about 16 potted plants that hang along W. Fourth Street Friday after she believes they were vandalized the night before. She said the plants are bought by the Victorian Christmas Committee and she maintains them throughout the year. Franklin planned to salvage what she could but said there were some she couldn’t fix and couldn’t be replaced. She called it “senseless vandalism,” and hoped to find out who did it.
