Ora M. Guinter, 91, of 1205 Pearl Blvd., Montoursville, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1921, in Williamsport, a daughter of Charles and Grace Hughes Garverick.
Ora was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and a member of the Eugene Grafius American Legion Post No. 104 Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack C. "Jake," who passed away in 1989 and eight brothers and sisters.
Ora is survived by a daughter, Ora M. Riedy of Montoursville; three grandsons, Michael, Tim (Tracey) and Pat Riedy; and two great- grandchildren, Jake and Brandyn.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Interment will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.
