Timothy "Bubba" D. Winder, 50, of 90 Broad St., Montgomery, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born March 20, 1962, in Muncy, he was a son of the late George Winder Jr. and Yvonne L. (Adams) Winder. On March 7, 1987, he married the former Lily M. Bennett, who survives. Together they celebrated 25 years of marriage.
A 1980 graduate of Montgomery High School, Bubba most recently worked at Keystone Filler, Muncy, for 12 years in quality control.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Montgomery, and a life active member of the Montgomery Volunteer Fire company, where he was a former fire police captain. He was also a member of the Montgomery Lions Club.
Bubba loved sports, especially watching the Chicago Bears, NY Yankees and the NC Tarheels. He also enjoyed spending time with his cat, Cloudy and playing games on the computer.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two brothers and one sister-in-law, Neal and Nancy Winder of Muncy and Dale Winder of Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is planning a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at the New Covenant Assembly of God, 1270 Pinchtown Road, Montgomery. Officiating will be the church pastor, Rev. James R. Pentz.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Bubba's name be made to the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Company, 24 Montgomery St., Montgomery, PA 17752.
