This letter will be short and sweet and to the point. It's in response to July 28th front page article on the lady not paying her real estate taxes for three years and blaming the Lycoming County Tax Claim Bureau for not mailing the tax bill to her in Bermuda.
She knew those tax bills came every year and should have contacted the County Assessment Office to give them her correct address.
I'm afraid the judge has set a "bad precedent" for future negligent property taxpayers. His ruling was shocking!
