Rose Marie Roup, 69, of Williamsport, died on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at the Gatehouse.
Born June 6, 1943, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Genevive Fitzsimmons. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Roup, and sister, Shirley Miller.
Rose retired from Manor Care after 22 years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Rose is survived by five children, Tina Andrews, Tammy Roup, Wendy Roup, Lori Roup and Robert Roup, all of Williamsport; eight grandchildren, Johnathan Parsons, Steven Starr, Scott Harper, Josh Harper, Shawn Harper, Justin Harper, Terry Andrews III, and Felicia Andrews; three sisters, Lucille Romano, Theresa Lucas, and Elouise Snauffer, all of Williamsport; and three brothers, Bob Fitzsimmons of Reading, Jack Fitzsimmons of Williamsport, and Jerry Fitzsimmons of South Williamsport.
In keeping with her wishes, services will be at the convenience of the family.
