Muncy Township supervisors to buy car

PENNSDALE - Muncy Township supervisors on Wednesday awarded a $39,992 contract to Sunbury Motors for a new Ford Interceptor police cruiser. The car includes a camera and equipment.

In other matters, the supervisors:

Signed the state Department of Transportation winter maintenance agreement, which allows them to plow and do winter maintenance on Middle and Quaker Church roads.

Accepted bids from David Stryker for cinders for the rest of 2012 and 2013.

Agreed to allow the tax collector to attend the 54th annual state Tax Collectors' Convention in York.
