Can you feel and see it? After years of new rules and regulations, our loss of freedom of speech and action just so we don't "offend" a certain group, and favoring one group of citizens over another we are getting closer to the boiling point. Very few react but with mind numbing results.
The resultant change, accelerated by this government, is leaving its citizens with a feeling of both helplessness and hopelessness. We see what we feel is wrong with the country, contact our politicians, and nothing happens.
I feel our government has evolved into a self-serving entity, supported by the masses. And they don't hear us. Congress has the authority to control spending and generate rules and regulations, but now that can be done by an unelected and unconfirmed person appointed by the President.
And we sit at home, helpless, wondering why this can stand while our economy is destroyed. The politicians vote themselves raises and pensions while we lose our jobs. Suffice it to say, this government is not for the people anymore.
The frustration felt by proud Americans is growing. They will never let that frustration turn to violence, but the weaker citizens will do what they feel "they have to", to satisfy their need to make things "right".
