"We don't want to charge a whole lot," he said. "God will bless us with customers. If you keep a steady flow of business you'll do all right."
Plocinski became a barber after working at other jobs over the years.
After living in Florida for a time, he moved back home to Williamsport, attended barber school, then worked with his brother cutting hair.
What he likes best about being a barber, he said, is talking to the customers.
"There's so many different personalities," he laughed.
Plocinski feels there's numerous types of hair-styling places and salons, but still plenty of people who just want to get their hair cut at a barber shop.
He said he hasn't done a lot of advertising, but is relying on word of mouth to spread the word about his shop.
