Alicia S. Kinney, 40, of 350 Clark Road, Inman, S.C., died Saturday, Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1971. She had been a domestic engineer and her father's caretaker for many years. She graduated from Chapman High School in 1989.
She is survived by the love of her life, Joe L. Barnette of 16 years, and her pride and joy, Gabriel L. Barnette; her best friend and brother whom she adored, Brad Kinney, of Wellford; her mother and friend, Lois Corson Tessneer (Jackie), of Landrum; Joe's parents, Lois and Dick Lawson, of Inman; and her committed companion pets and protectors, Ozzie and Freckles. She was predeceased by her father, Floyd "Bud" Kinney who lived in Inman and was raised in Montgomery, Pa.; her grandfather, Robert I. "Bob" Corson (Barb Walters), of Mill Hall, Pa.; Sarah Gardner (Gerald), of Inman. She lived life to the fullest.
