Karen J. Campbell, 55, of Williamsport, passed away on Aug. 13, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Karen was born in Corning, N.Y. on Jan. 20, 1957, the daughter of the late Leonard and Beverly Andrews Mortensen.
She had been employed for 20 years as a real estate agent for Fish Real Estate and most recently had been working as the office administrator for Sterling Crane.

Karen was an avid gardener who enjoyed walks with her dog Chloe and an occasional shopping trip, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She and her husband Bill Campbell celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary on July 3, 2012.
Surviving in addition to her husband and her mother of Painted Post, N.Y., are daughters, Jenny (Charlie) Day, of Greencastle, Pa., Stephanie Beadle, of Montoursville, Kendra (Daniel) Davis, of Montoursville, and Patrice (Alex) Thomas, of Milroy, Pa.; five grandchildren, Natalie, Josie and Miles Davis, Colton and Broderick Beadle; and a brother, Timothy (Ellen) Mortensen, of Hammondsport, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, with her pastor, Rev. Paul C. Fontanella, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hyner, Pa. at the convenience of the family.
