On registering tenants, why not just have the Williamsport Water Authority take picture ID and hold tenants responsible for their own water usage at the same time? We would be solving a huge problem at the same time keeping a record of who lives where.
Landlords lose hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in unpaid water bills. Money that could be used to refurbish our Williamsport properties.
Instead it is going down the drain.
This is a great opportunity to fix two problems at minimal cost to the taxpayer; after all, it is the Williamsport Water Authority.
