8 sentenced in Tioga County

WELLSBORO - Eight people were sentenced Monday in Tioga County Court.

According to court documents, sentenced to state prison was:

Christopher J. Bowen, 26, of Canton, two to five years for criminal trespass plus $2,270 restitution.

Sentenced to county prison were:

George M. Schuler, 69, of 53 Blackwell Square, Morris, 48 months of intermediate punishment for forgery, with six months in jail, a $200 fine, plus $3,875 restitution to Tiadaghton Trout Unlimited.

Russell G. Weeks, 33, of 32130 Route 24, Gillett, five years of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence of intoxicants with six months in jail and a $1,500 fine. Weeks also was sentenced to 12 months of probation for criminal mischief and $3,467 restitution.

Wayne F. Sherman, 64, of Box 282, Main Street, Osceola, five years of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence of intoxicants, with six months in jail and a $1,500 fine.

Jordan B. Greeley, 26, of 334 Round Top Road, 24 months of supervision for resisting arrest, with three months in jail and a $150 fine.

Jason A. Ayers, 33, of Lebanon, six months of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence of intoxicants with 72 hours in jail and a $1,000 fine, and for unlawful possession of a firearm, two to 23 months concurrently in jail and a $200 fine.

Sentenced to probation were:

Christopher D. Kinner, 25, of Elmira, N.Y., four years for delivery of a controlled substance, $930 restitution to state police and $200 fine.

Jessi C. Hider, 20, of 874 Snyder Point, Road, 15 months for criminal conspiracy to commit theft.
