Paul G. Miller, 76, of Montgomery, passed away suddenly Aug. 14, 2012, at his residence. He was born Jan. 8, 1936, in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, a son of the late Gerhard and Ida Mae (Fawber) Miller. Paul's wife, Margaret, preceded him in death July 9, 1982.
Paul was a member of the Turbotville Independent Baptist Church, Turbotville. He was a woodworker at the former Hinzman and Waldman and the former Habig Veneer Shop, Montgomery. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and biking and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his sister, Caterine (Robert) Crawford, Tunkhannock and two nieces, Valerie (Kevin) Smith and their children, Richard and Catherine Smith and Carol Susanne (John) Carroll and their children, Meredith and Bryn Carroll.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. John's Brick Church Cemetery, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, by Rev. Max Walters Jr. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.mccartythomas.com.
