ELKLAND - Danny L. Swain, 34, of 5307 Main St., Millerton was charged by state police with simple assault, harassment and terroristic threats following a domestic dispute Aug. 5. According to documents filed at District Judge Brian Edgcomb's office, state police allege that Swain grabbed his wife, Machelle L. Swain, and threatened to cut his 2-year-old daughter's throat if his wife touched his animal mounts, and that she also would get her throat cut. He was issued a summons to appear at an Oct. 4 preliminary hearing.
