ELKLAND - Angela N. Pennypacker, 31, of 134 Sullivan St., Mansfield, was charged by state police with hit and run involving death or injury, and several traffic violations, in connection with a crash that injured a passenger in the vehicle she was driving without a license. According to documents filed at District Judge Brian Edgcomb's office, Pennypacker was involved in a crash that occurred July 14 on Burfield Road, Burlington Township, rolling the vehicle and hitting several trees.
The car landed on its roof and then flipped onto its tires, causing the passenger, Justin B. Wisk to be hit in the head by the roof of the car. He had to be flown by medical helicopter to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, where he was treated for his injuries. She was issued a summons to appear at a preliminary hearing Oct. 4.
