On May 4, Brian G. Fischer was inducted into the International Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma.
Beta Gamma Sigma is an honor society for students enrolled in collegiate programs who are academically ranking in the top 7 percent of the junior class.
Fischer, a senior at the University of Scranton, graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 2009.
