A lengthy standoff that began late Friday afternoon between a man in his mobile home and the state police continued for several hours at the Harvest Moon Mobile Home Park along Route 220 in Woodward Township.
South Pine Run Road and part of Youngs Road were closed to traffic during the tense situation, which began about 4 p.m., police said.
No shots had been fired and there were no reports of injuries as of 10 p.m. A special emergency response team of state troopers was on the scene.
It was unknown if troopers had any communication with the man. It also was unknown if he had made any threats or was armed with a weapon.
Police also could not say if any homes in the park had been evacuated. Township volunteer firefighters were on the scene providing lighting for police.
