Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Weigle, Williamsport, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 4, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Roy Hunter at First Baptist Church, Lock Haven. They are members of New Life Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Montoursville.
Mrs. Weigle, the former Mary Sue West, is a native of Lock Haven. She is the daughter of the late Elsie and Dean West. She graduated from the former Lock Haven High School in 1960 and attended Baptist Bible College from 1962 to 1963.

Mr. Weigle, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Marie and Clyde Weigle. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1958 and from the former Lock Haven State Teacher's College, now a university in 1962. He retired in 1998 from Keystone Central School District, Lock Haven, as a geography teacher.
They are the parents of a daughter, Beth Calvert, Hillsdale, Mich.; and two sons, Tim, Williamsport; and David, Danville.
There are seven grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a party, hosted by their children, was held Aug. 3 at the Williamsport Country Club.
