Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Mitstifer, Linden, observed their 50th wedding anniversary June 30, 2012.
Mrs. Mitstifer, the former Joyce Bellott, is the daughter of the late Lucille and John Bellott. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1959. She retired from Williamsport Area School District in 1996.
Mr. Mitstifer is the don of the late Walter and Olga Mitstifer. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1958. He retired from the United Parcel Service in 1996 after 25 years of service.

They are the parents of a son, Michael II, Linden, and two daughters, Tina Young, DuBoistown, and Crystal Hooper, Nashville, Tenn. There are five grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a party, hosted by their children, was held at daughter Tina's home. A trip to Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Nashville, also will be taken.
