At Serenity Studios experienced massage therapist Jun Liu makes use of her strong hands and instinctive touch to knead tight muscles for her patrons.
Here, at her studio in downtown Williamsport, customers can receive a full body or a deep tissue massage, or even a chair or foot massage.
Located at 148 W. Fourth St., the business opened in May and is owned and operated by Liu and her husband, Greg Balliet.
Jun Liu gives a customer a massage at the studio on Fourth Street downtown.
Balliet, a native of Muncy, said the business offers three massage rooms.
"We want everyone to come in and be totally comfortable and have a good massage and a good experience," he said.
Customers can surrender to the massage, allowing muscles and joints of necks, shoulders, and backs to be soothed.

Balliet, who worked hard to get Serenity Studios ready for business, is hoping to draw customers from not only in and around its downtown site but from all over the local area.
"We have regular customers already," he said.
Balliet said the couple decided to open the business after Jun, who'd been practicing massage therapy, decided she wanted her own place.
"She studied massage in China and California," Balliet said.
Also working at the business is Jun's son and Balliet's son-in-law, Tiansong. Tiansong, he said, also can perform massages. Balliet said the business is adding another employee and a fourth massage room.
He said customers will receive a quality massage in a unique environment.
Serenity Studios is open daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The business accepts both walk-in customers and those by appointment.
Balliet said massages are for anyone - the blue-collar worker, the business person, men and women.
"We don't care if you are a traveler, a manager, a housewife or whatever. We want anyone who comes in to be comfortable. The appeal is to all types of people."
