MANSFIELD - Just in time for the start of hunting season, Lambs Creek Sportsman's Club will hold a hunter clays shoot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 2 at club grounds, 339 Sportsman's Club Road.
Tired of shooting the same old trap, skeet or sporting clays targets? Want to get ready for the 2012 hunting season?
Come out and have some fun at an "old time hunter clays" shoot where organizers will simulate real-world hunting scenarios. From the dove field to a grouse thicket to the duck blind, it's like hunting - you don't know what to expect.
Scores will not be kept. Fees apply per round for adults and youth.
The shoot is open to participants of all ages and capabilities. Club membership is not required.
Bring shotguns and No. 7 1/2 or 8 shotshells.
