Walter C. Wool, 65, of Williamsport, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2012.
Born March 12, 1947, in Williamsport, he was a son of Walter M. and Mary Kathryn Flook Wool.
Walter was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He just recently retired from Textron (formerly AVCO), where he had been employed since January of 1966.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kathryn (Steven) Lose of Howard; two brothers, Alfred (Connie) Wool of Cogan Station and Samuel (Gloria) Wool of Cogan Station; two granddaughters, Mandi Taylor and Tiara Lose; and a great-granddaughter, Miley Shope.
He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Stumpf; and a brother, Carl D. Wool.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.
