Comparative analogy

August 21, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

This is in response to Keith McAndrew's letter comparing President Obama to an Olympic swimmer. Let's say that a swimmer entering the Olympics feels that he can win in his event and competes and makes it to the Olympics. Just before the race he is held down by a congress of baboons (a group of baboons is called a congress) and they tie weights to him so that all he can do is doggy paddle. How can he be expected to win the race with such a handicap?

The real problem is that both parties don't work for the good of the people, they work against each other for their personal agenda.
