I left Williamsport in 1943 to go in the Navy. I have always bragged about being from Pennsylvania, the land of the Liberty Bell, Valley Forge, Constitutional Hall and Gettysburg.
But when I hear about voter suppression, it makes me ashamed to be from there.
I live in a state where we have voter by mail and it is wonderful. You can study your ballot in the privacy of your own home.
You have all the time in the world to study your voter pamphlet. Democracy works here. You are losing your freedom to the vulture Republicans.
