A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Shiffler Avenue and East Third Street in Loyalsock Township about 5 p.m. Wednesday.

According to state police, the motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.

The driver of the truck told police that he was stopped at a traffic light.

When he went to turn left, the motorcyclist passed him on the right, causing the two vehicles to collide, according to the truck driver.

The two vehicles suffered head-on damage as a result of the incident.

The driver of the truck was uninjured, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Williamsport Regional Medial Center by ambulance, but the severity of the man's injuries have not been released.

State police explained that, at this point, they have only one side of the story and have to interview the driver of the motorcycle before closing their investigation.
