Woman waives meth lab charges

ELKLAND - A Lawrenceville couple charged with making methamphetamine at their home are back in jail after one waived her preliminary hearing and the other's preliminary hearing was continued until next week.

According to District Judge Brian Edgcomb's office, Keri Preston, 34, and her husband Amos, also 34, of 43 State St., were charged by Lawrenceville police with operating a methamphetamine lab, disposing of the waste illegally and manufacturing meth with children present.

Keri Preston's bail was reduced to $20,000 and her county court arraignment set for Sept. 17, while Amos Preston's bail remained at $150,000.
