Elizabeth M. Michaels, 92, of Williamsport, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Manor Care North.
Born Aug. 8, 1920, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Samuel H. and Irene (Dunn) Hively.
Betty worked as a housekeeper for the Lycoming County Court House. She enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles.
Surviving are a son, Merle Sr. (June) Hively, of Williamsport; two daughters, Helen (Frederick Jr.) Womer, of Hughesville, and Catherine Martin, of Williamsport; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester R. Michaels, in 1976; two grandsons, Ronald and Arnold Hively; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will be held in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sanders Mortuary.
