August 26, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Michael Dinsmore recently was named manager of Little Pine State Park Complex in Lycoming County, according to the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

In addition, he will oversee the six-acre Upper Pine Bottom State Park, also in Lycoming County; and the 180-acre Hyner Run and 40-acre Hyner View state parks in Clinton County.

He last worked as an assistant manager at Hickory Run State Park Complex in Luzerne and Carbon counties. He has been employed by the Bureau of State Parks since 2002.

"From serving in park and DCNR ranger posts to staffing a Bureau of State Parks headquarters' position, Michael Dinsmore's experience has been broad-based and most productive," said DCNR Secretary Richard Allan.

Dinsmore, 30, a native of Dagus Mines, Elk County, is married and has two daughters. He holds an associate degree in wildlife technology from Penn State.
